Macmillan Cancer Support

Cancer affects everyone.

In the times when cancer comes closest we all need help in the fight.

Whether you are a carer, sufferer, family member or a friend there will be times when you will need someone to talk to - for advice, for comfort, for support.

The Zorb Zone wants to help ensure that when you make that call someone will be there to answer it.

We therefore support Macmillan and also Cancer Research UK and these are our chosen charities for 2015.

The Zorb Zone will once again attend the Macmillan Car Show and Family Fun Day at Clandon Park on Sunday 12th July. There will be waterzorbs, water-rollers and our challenging Zorb Chicane to try your skills at and Annie's Traditional Tea Marquee will provide the catering. You can be sure of lots of delicious cake if you come down to the park that day! All proceeds from the Car Show are going to Macmillan and we hope to raise a tidy sum ourselves so if you are in the area do, please, come down and support us; its all in avery worthy cause and promises once again to be great fun. The Second Towpath Challenge -  a walk planned and organised by 11 - 12 year olds over 32 miles in two days along the Oxford Canal from Thrupp to beyond Aynho and back again, took place on 27th and 28th May. They were sponsored by The Zorb Zone who provided Stand up to Cancer t-shirts and leggings to every participant, food, refreshments and support cover.

Donations are still coming in but it appears that the children, all of whom had a personal reason for undertaking the walk to defeat cancer, have raised over £2000 for Cancer Research UK. WOW! Well done to everyone involved and thank you to all those who doanted - including those hapless dogwalkers and canal users who were bemused to find themselves being mugged for their small change!!

Thank you for your help,

The Zorb Zone Team
